Sarah McGraynor is a Senior Manager in the insolvency and restructuring team and has over 10 years of restructuring, insolvency and advisory experience in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands across a broad range of engagements including official and voluntary liquidations, large portfolio receiverships and independent business reviews.
Sarah started her career in Ireland where she spent 6 years at Grant Thornton Ireland in the financial services advisory department advising on the insolvency of a wide variety of companies encompassing a diverse range of assets and distressed loans for various financial institutions. She gained extensive experience across a variety of portfolios including residential and commercial property, trading assets and development land assets. Sarah was regularly involved with the management and co-ordination of the sale of real estate assets, restructuring of trading companies, regulatory compliance, assessing alternative strategic options for companies, enhancing values and devising effective solutions for distressed assets.
Sarah joined FFP in early 2019 where she spent over three years managing a portfolio of voluntary and court appointed liquidations of Cayman Islands registered funds and related structures. During this time Sarah worked on an extensive range of cross border engagements involving litigation, illiquid assets, investor disputes, asset recovery and investigations regarding fraud and regulatory issues, , before returning to Ireland in 2022 where she spent two years working with the Restructuring team at Interpath Advisory.
She returned to the FFP team in 2024, and her broad range of experience gained both onshore and offshore places her well to deliver the fiduciary, restructuring and insolvency services provided by FFP.
Sarah is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association in the Cayman Islands and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants.
